Privacy

Connect Fore is in a small private beta. It helps a golfer (the host) fill a foursome by inviting other golfers to a round. This page explains what it keeps and why.

What we keep

Hosts: the email address used to sign in, and the profile they enter (name, and optionally home course, handicap, skill level, mobile number).
Invited golfers: the name and the mobile number and/or email the host enters for them, and their answers (Accept / Decline, and a name they correct). Invited golfers don't need an account.
Rounds: the course, date, tee time and details the host enters, and a history of changes.

Contact details are used only so the host can send their invitations. Connect Fore doesn't send texts or emails to golfers: the host sends each invitation from their own phone or email. Golfers' contact details are never shown in invitation links, and a golfer's invitation page doesn't show other golfers' details.

What we don't do

No advertising, no analytics or tracking, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.
No cookies for invited golfers. Hosts get the sign-in cookies needed to stay signed in.
Get Directions opens Apple Maps or Google Maps with the course's location only — not who you are or anything about the round.

Where it's kept

Data is stored in a database hosted by Supabase in Canada (Montréal region). The app itself runs on Vercel, also in its Montréal region. Both act as service providers for Connect Fore.

Removing your details

To see, correct or remove what Connect Fore holds about you, ask the host who invited you. Details are removed on request, and all beta data will be deleted if the beta ends without Connect Fore continuing.
